Bromfenac sodium ophthalmic solution- is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID). It works by preventing the release of certain natural substances in the eye that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).This medication is used to relieve eye pain. It avoids and treats inflammation and pain associated with eye surgery. The ability of this substance to inhibit cyclooxygenase 1 and 2 and hence prevent prostaglandin formation is thought to be the mechanism of action. 

Uses of Eynac 5ml 

This medication comes with Bromfenac Sodium which is used as an eye solution. After eye surgery, it is often injected into the afflicted eye(s) once or twice a day for 14 days. Depending on the brand of bromfenac ophthalmic your doctor has prescribed, they may also advise you to take it the day before and the day of the procedure. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any instructions on your prescription label that you are unsure about following. Bromfenac ophthalmic should only be used as prescribed. apply it only as directed by your doctor, neither more nor less often. 

Precautions of Eynac 5ml 

Read the label before using this product, do not apply this solution while using contact lenses. Use this medicine as directed by your physician. Do not take this eye solution for a long period of time as it may cause damage to your vision. It is used once or twice a day for 14 days. Inform your doctor about your allergies. If you have diabetes, asthma, arthritis or dry eyes disease inform your doctor before using this solution. 

Do not apply this medication if you are pregnant, or planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding. Wash your hands before using this medication, avoid putting the eye dropper’s tip in your eye or touching it. Your eye could become infected with a contaminated dropper, which could cause major visual issues.

Bromfenac sodium ophthalmic solution can cause some common side effects which may include:

• Stinging and burning
• Redness and itching 
• Headache 
• Eye discomfort 
• Redness and swelling of eyes, lips and tongue 
• Eye pain 
• Blurry and cloudy vision 
• Rashes, hives and other skin changes 

Immediately Inform your doctor if you face any of these side effects.

Storage and dosage 

Store this medication at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. This product should not be frozen. When not in use, keep the bottle tightly closed. Use this medication exactly as directed by your doctor. It should not be used frequently because it can cause serious eye damage. As directed, take this medication once or twice a day.
