Brimonidine Tartrate 0.1% Eye Drop
The common term for BMD 5ml is (brimonidine tartrate ophthalmic solution) 0.1 percent or 0.15 percent. It is an alpha-adrenergic receptor that is used to treat ocular hypertension (eye pressure) and glaucoma. It aids in the reduction of high eye pressure and the risk of vision loss. This medication can be used individually or in conjunction with another eye drop that decreases eye pressure. BMD Eye Drop decreases fluid retention in the eyes and promotes drainage of the fluid from the eyes in patients with ocular hypertension.
This aids in the treatment of ocular hypertension while still preventing any disruption or symptoms such as vision alterations or even vision loss. This eye drop is used to treat glaucoma by reducing swelling and pain inside the eye. This helps to avoid glaucoma symptoms such as blindness and increases vision. Abnormally high pressure in your eye is often the source of this injury. Glaucoma is one of the major causes of blindness in individuals aged 60 and over.
Though side effects are not severe. But, if you feel itching in the eyes or any allergies then you should consult your doctor to get relief and stop using eye drop till your doctor said so.
