Piperacillin 4000mg + Tazobactam 500 mg injections is a combination of Piperacillin and Tazobactam. Piperacillin and Tazobactam injections are available in the market at Vee Remedies under the brand name VEPIP-TZ.  Vepip-tz is used for the treatment of bacterial infections that affect the lungs, urinary tract, skin, etc. Vepip-tz injections are effective only for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and not viruses. Piperacillin 4000mg + Tazobactam 500 mg injection is effective against a large number of bacteria. 

Piperacillin in  Vepip-tz injections works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell walls and killing the infection-causing bacteria. Tazobactam in  Vepip-tz injections protects Piperacillin and ensures extended anti-bacterial activity. Vepip-tz injections may cause some common side effects such as diarrhoea, upset stomach, headache, sleeplessness, skin rash and itching, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms from Piperacillin 4000mg + Tazobactam 500 mg injection persist or if they become severe.

Direction of Use 

• Piperacillin 4000mg + Tazobactam 500 mg injections are given by your doctor in a clinic or a hospital setting. 
• Piperacillin 4000mg + Tazobactam 500 mg injections are not recommended if you are allergic to it. 
• Vepip-tz injections are not advisable for children below 2 years of age.
