The combination works together to eliminate infection-causing bacteria and microorganisms. The first ingredient present in the medication, Nitrofurazone, helps stop the growth of bacteria. Metronidazole is potent against anaerobic bacteria; it damages the DNA of the bacteria or microorganisms. Urea helps create a safe space for healing; it also removes foreign debris, pus, and dead tissue. The last ingredient present in the medication is Povidone-Iodine; it helps reduce the risk of bacteria occurring again in livestock.

Dosage

Standard Dose- Administer only under the supervision of a veterinarian. Generally, the dosage depends on the animal’s weight and size. For large animals, you can use 2-4 boluses, and for small animals, use 1to 2 boluses.

Administration- The medication is applied directly to the uterus, using sanitized gloved hands or a specialized gun applicator. The medication must not be fed to the animals. Follow and maintain hygiene while administering the medication.

Course duration- The duration depends on the condition of the animal. Use the medication regularly for 3 to 5 days.
