Fluorometholone and Neomycin Ophthalmic Suspension
Veflu-Neo is a combination of two medicines Fluorometholone and Neomycin. This suspension is very useful and treats bacterial infections in the eyes. It comes under the group of ‘Antibiotics and Corticosteroids’. Fluorometholone reduces inflammation and the symptoms that are associated with infections. It is a glucocorticoid and inhibits the chemicals such as prostaglandins. Fluorometholone also reduces redness and irritation. Neomycin works by interfering in the formation of proteins that are required for bacteria to grow. It is an aminoglycoside antibiotic and is used to kill bacteria by preventing its growth.
This ophthalmic suspension is used to treat certain eye conditions that can arise due to inflammation, bacteria, or injury.
This medication does not have any harmful side effects but if the below-mentioned symptoms do not improve within a few days, or if they become worse, speak again with your doctor.

2 What are the conditions when we should not use this ophthalmic suspension?
Fluorometholone and Neomycin suspension for eyes should not be used in conditions like glaucoma, tuberculosis, a fungal disease of the eyes, or females who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
3 What happens if a dose is missed?
Take the missed dose as soon as possible and do not skip it in the future. But if it is already time for your next dose then do not take it. This will avoid two doses at one time.
