TIMOVER-DZ consists of Timolol 5mg + Dorzolamide 20 mg. Dorzolamide+Timolol Eye Drop is a medication formulation used to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It reduces the production of fluid (aqueous humor) in the eye, thus relieving eye pressure. This alleviates the symptoms. Dorzolamide+Timolol Eye Drop can only be used in the affected eye. It is prescribed to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Get the dropper up to your eye without rubbing it. Squeeze the dropper gently and put the medication inside the lower eyelid. Wipe out the excess liquid. Timolol is a beta-blocker and Dorzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. They act by reducing the development of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye), which lowers the elevated eye pressure. This dosage should not be used more than two times a day.
And if you feel fine, continue to take this drug. Often patients with glaucoma or elevated eye pressure should not feel ill. Although its side effect does not require any medical attention and would disappear from your body if a patient still feels blurred vision, stinging sensation, itching, or burning sensation then he should go and check with a doctor.
